VandCenter Syd

VandCenter Syd is one of Denmark’s largest and oldest water utility companies. Founded in 1853, it is jointly owned by the municipalities of Odense and Nordfyn, with ownership shares of 89% and 11% respectively. The company is headquartered in Odense, Denmark, and employs approximately 200 people.
Core Activities:
Water Supply:
1.Provides drinking water to about 179,000 consumers, supplying approximately 9.2 million cubic meters annually.
2.Operates five waterworks, 15 pressure zones, and two elevated storage tanks.
3.Maintains around 1,100 km of drinking water pipelines.


Wastewater Management:
1.Manages wastewater for industrial and most residential customers in Odense and Nordfyn.
2.Operates eight wastewater treatment plants, nearly 2,500 household pumps, about 400 pumping stations, over 300 basins, and around 3,000 km of sewer pipelines.
