On June 20, the "2023 Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Zone Modern Agriculture International Merchants Promotion Conference" was held inJiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo CenterThe event was successfully held. With the theme of "International Agricultural Cooperation and Open and Shared Future", this event centers on leading enterprises to cultivate modern agricultural clusters, build innovation platforms, strengthen industrial financial support, and enhance innovation cooperation and industrial synergy. Next, the Agricultural Hi-Tech Zone will further deepen the structural adjustment of the agricultural industry, accelerate the development of digital agriculture and other modern agriculture, in order to promote agricultural efficiency, improve farmers' income and help rural revitalization.
The event was supported by the Netherlands Council for the Promotion of Trade (NCPIT) and the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai. The Netherlands is the second largest agricultural exporter in the world and has achieved this with less than half the area of Jiangsu Province. The Dutch government has initiated the Dutch Facility Farming Co-operation Alliance to support a sustainable and profitable horticultural chain to be promoted in China.
Israel has a land area of 20,000 square kilometers, 67% of the country is desert, and the per capita arable land area is only 0.72 acres of arable land, making resources scarce. As a country of innovation, Israel uses cutting-edge technology, such as drip irrigation and water conservation, precision fertilization, agricultural information technology, not only to achieve self-sufficiency in domestic food, but also to achieve a large number of exports.
Nearly 20 enterprises from Holland and Israel actively participated in the International Investment Promotion Seminar for Modern Agriculture in Agricultural Hi-Tech Zone, and the cutting-edge technology and mature experience they brought with them, such as facility agriculture technology and agricultural irrigation technology, attracted more than 40 enterprises in Lishui to actively enroll in the negotiation. In addition, Liangrun Fund, Bailian Fund, Jinzai Houjie, Honeybee Fund and Haijun Capital helped on the spot and facilitated the docking.
During the event, Yang Bing, member of the party group of Lishui District CPPCC and director of Baima Hi-Tech Zone Management Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, and Shi Chenxi, director of Economic Development Bureau of Baima Hi-Tech Zone, made an investment environment promotion. In recent years under the leadership of Lishui District Party Committee and Government, Lishui District has implemented one district with multiple gardens and shared resources to create a whole area of agricultural highland. Based on this, more than 20 visiting companies visited Taining New Agricultural Ecological Park in Honglan Street, Puren Organic Plus Distribution Center in Jingqiao Township, Golden Manor Strawberry Base in Dongping Street, Nanjing Agricultural University's Baima Base, and Agricultural Hi-Tech Zone's Planning Exhibition Hall.
In the industrial docking session, the visiting enterprises and local enterprises were precisely matched, in which Knight, Xinnofei, Dutch Dybyshire Greenhouse Group, Dutch PRIVA (PRIVA), Netfim (Israel) and so on have expressed that this docking is both efficient and practical significance.
At the same time, it allows these enterprises to have a more comprehensive understanding of Lishui's industrial development environment, which lays a good foundation for both sides to promote industrial cooperation in the future.
Through in-depth exchanges with local enterprises, enterprises from the Netherlands Maitreya and Nanjing Kai Bao Rui Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Tian Guo Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. for seed technology in-depth communication, and initially reached a cooperation intention, at the same time, from Israel ETZA Agro-tech and Agricultural High-altitude Zone on the construction of agricultural science and technology in the country to carry out in-depth docking and communication.
