The Government of the Province of Salzburg is the administrative body of the Federal Province of Salzburg, Austria. It is responsible for enforcing state laws and regulations and providing public services to the citizens of Salzburg. The government is headed by the Governor of Salzburg, currently Wilfried Haslauer.

The Salzburg Landtag is the unicameral state legislature. It is responsible for electing the Governor of Salzburg, passing laws and approving the state budget. The Parliament has 56 members, who are elected by the citizens of Salzburg in a general election.
Governor of Salzburg
The Governor of Salzburg is the Head of State of Salzburg. He or she heads the government, appoints the members of the Council of State and represents Salzburg at federal level. The Governor of Salzburg is elected by the Landtag for a five-year term.
State Council (PRC)
The Council of State is an advisory body to the Governor of Salzburg. It is made up of representatives of the political parties represented in Parliament. The Council of State is responsible for making proposals on major political issues and monitoring the implementation of government policy.
Prime Minister of the State
The State Chancellery is the central administrative body of the Government. It coordinates the work of the ministries and provides legal and policy advice to the Governor of the Province of Salzburg.
