On April 18th, the Suzhou-Hong Kong Civil Servants Symposium (Gulou Special Session) was held in Nanjing Gulou Innovation Square. Mr. Lu Yanqing, Vice President of Nanjing University, Mr. Wang Yuchun, Deputy Secretary of Gulou District Party Committee, Mr. Gu Cheng, Director of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Nanjing University, representatives of Hong Kong civil servants from Nanjing University's National Affairs Seminar, and representatives of civil servants from various departments of the district and the streets participated in the symposium.

He said, Hong Kong civil servants national affairs training course has grown into an important exchange program for the integration and development of Suzhou and Hong Kong, has been Nanjing University and Gulou District in the introduction of talent, "double carbon" industrial development, innovation and entrepreneurship and other aspects of sincere collaboration, looking forward to all parties to Xin Changxing, Secretary of the visit to Hong Kong, and efforts to build cooperation between Hong Kong and Jiangsu. Wang Yuchun on the Hong Kong civil service delegation's visit to express welcome, from the beautiful environment, deep heritage, resource concentration, supporting the perfect, developed economy, industrial agglomeration, the whole region innovation, vitality, grass-roots governance, sound and colorful and so on five aspects of the basic situation of Gulou District. Wang Yuchun said that in recent years, Gulou and Hong Kong in the economy and trade, science and technology, culture and other areas of comprehensive deepening of cooperation, has achieved positive results, I hope that the talks and exchanges between the two civil servants across the region, enhance friendship and deepen cooperation in a vivid practice.
Ni Yahong, Director of Gulou District Development and Reform Commission, Director of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and first-class researcher, introduced the departmental work of the District Development and Reform Commission to the representatives of Hong Kong civil servants. Cai Jian, Director of Gulou District Hunan Road Street Office, made a presentation on grassroots governance. Cai Jian introduced in detail the basic situation of Hunan Road Street and the responsibilities of the street in economic development, grassroots governance, livelihood protection and other aspects of work.
At the symposium, civil servants of the two places carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues of their respective concern, such as youth employment, livelihood protection and industrial development, which not only strengthened the understanding and connection between the two places, but also laid the foundation for future cooperation and development.
Yu Wen, Secretary of the Committee of Communist Youth League Gulou District and Chairman of the District Youth Federation, introduced the "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Seeing Gulou" national education line to the guests, inviting Hong Kong young people to enter Gulou and learn about Gulou, and promoting extensive contacts, comprehensive exchanges and in-depth integration between Hong Kong young people and young people of Gulou to experience the connotation of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and to recognize the achievements of economic and social development of the motherland in the line.
