Officially opened for trial operation for six months, this luxury commercial body has gathered 168 international high-end fashion brands and specialty food and beverage attracted 50 brands to enter Nanjing for the first time to open the first store.

The project is not only the first son of Hong Kong-based Sun Hung Kai Properties in Nanjing, but also the third project of its high-end commercial brand IFC after Hong Kong and Shanghai. The choice of Nanjing among cities of the same or even higher level of capacity reflects the Hong Kong company's optimism for the open and inclusive urban environment of Nanjing and Jianye.

From the beginning of last year, during the Nanjing Economic and Trade Delegation's visit to Hong Kong to carry out exchanges, the city's main leaders paid a visit to the headquarters of Sun Hung Kai Properties, and then to the opening of the project in Jianye District, the Nanjing IFC is a window into the humanities and economic integration of Hong Kong and Nanjing, and the openness of Nanjing and Jianye in embracing the world and integrating into the world.

Since its trial operation, Nanjing IFC has become a dazzling city landmark at the "crossroads" of Yuantong, attracting more than 50 brands to set up their first stores in Nanjing; in the first half of this year, more than half of the first stores above the provincial level in Jianye District were set up here. Based on Sun Hung Kai Properties' long and stable partnership with international brands, IFC Nanjing will see more and more debuts, shows and exhibitions of top luxury brands in the future, gathering more domestic and international high-end commercial brands and resources.

Due to Nanjing IFC, Yuantong Business Circle has been promoted to the "top stream". In the past, due to the lack of high-end supply, when it comes to high luxury consumption, the first reaction of many Nanjing people is still "to go to Xinjiekou", Sun Hung Kai Properties has successfully operated a number of heavy luxury projects, and its brand influence and appeal have given the Yuantong Business Circle more imaginative energy and brand potential.

Driven by the "top stream", Jianye District's new consumption is constantly renewed. In the first half of this year, the district completed a total of 18.18 billion yuan of social zero, up 9.1% year-on-year, ranking first in the main city of Nanjing.

An interesting phenomenon is that since the trial operation of Nanjing IFC, the customer flow and sales of Huacai Tiandi, which is located one street away from the mall, have been on a rising trend, and the "Burger Chiu Chow Festival" attracted 580,000 customers during the May 1 period of this year alone. Ge Yuanyuan, deputy general manager of Huacai Tiandi, analyzed, "The interaction between the opening of the mall's outdoor plaza, the renovation and upgrading of the negative one floor and the trial operation of Nanjing IFC has brought about an increase in customer flow. Nanjing IFC also effectively complements other commercial complexes in the business district, jointly covering the middle and high-end consumption demand in the district." 

Industry analysts analyze that the heavy luxury commercial body will not only bring the rapid agglomeration of commercial resources, but also release a strong "spillover effect". The high-capacity first store attracted by Nanjing IFC will open second and third stores in other business districts in Nanjing and even in other cities across the province, and brands will also carry out co-branding and linkage. In the long run, Nanjing IFC is not only a core commercial project in Jianye, but also an important piece in the overall development of Nanjing.

Previously, Nanjing's commercial map is mostly Deji, Jingfeng, Hongyue City and other local chain brands, Hong Kong-funded Sun Hung Kai Properties' precise control of consumer trends and the expansion of international resources links to the business of Nanjing injected more international elements, a strong support for the construction of Nanjing's international consumer center city. Foreign-funded projects such as Hang Seng Electronics, Taiping Insurance Sanzheng Fund, Nanjing Changjincheng Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Hidden Mountain Capital Supply Chain Industry Fund have landed successively.
