The Lishui New Energy Vehicle Industrial Base is located in the Lishui Economic Development Zone, and it is currently the largest provincial-level new energy vehicle industrial base. Since the initiation of the layout for the new energy vehicle industry in 2011, and over a decade of development, the Lishui Economic Development Zone has successively attracted five major new energy vehicle manufacturers, including Kawei, BYD, Changan, Hengtian, and others. The zone has gathered over two hundred core component enterprises, capable of producing more than 200 models listed in the official catalog. These models cover passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and more. Every day, hundreds of new energy vehicles roll off the production lines along the New Energy Avenue, reaching over 20 countries and regions globally. This has essentially formed an ecosystem for the new energy vehicle industry that spans from complete vehicle manufacturing to key component research and development, production, and sales, covering the entire upstream and downstream of the industry chain. According to reports, in 2022, the Lishui New Energy Vehicle Industrial Base achieved an industrial output value of 40 billion yuan. It was recognized as the New Energy Vehicle Industrial Base of Jiangsu Province and ascended to the national-level Torch Characteristic Industry Base. As one of the four major landmarks in Nanjing's new energy vehicle industry, the Lishui New Energy Vehicle Industrial Base is accelerating its journey towards a billion-yuan level industrial cluster.
Currently, the Lishui Economic Development Zone in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is actively planning and constructing the Nanjing Lishui New Energy Automobile Industry Zone. The focus is on developing three key areas: new energy vehicles, critical components, and the promotion of application demonstration.
