II. Key lessons learned from the "smart change to digital to online" approach

The company takes ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning Management System) as the core operation platform, integrates product full life cycle management, computer integrated manufacturing, quality management, automatic warehouse management, cloud desktop office and other production and operation systems, and realizes the digital management of the whole process of LCD panel production.

MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is the core of the whole production system, CIMPC communicates with EIS/EIP to report the production process information of the equipment to the MES system, the system carries out the planning and management of the whole production process, and reacts to the real-time events that occur in the factory and gives alarms.MCS (Material Carrying System) is in charge of receiving the carrying instructions issued by the MES system, and reasonably plans the carrying path. MCS (Material Handling System) is responsible for receiving handling instructions from MES system and planning the handling path reasonably. During the production process, SPC (Online Process Control System) controls the equipment in real time, uploads process parameters, monitors defective conditions, and sends real-time e-mail reminders. In the process of equipment operation, FMC (Factory Real-Time Monitoring System) monitors the equipment status information (alarms) in real time, counts the number of equipment crops, the number of points of equipment repair defects, the number of equipment WIP and transport processing, etc. FDC (Fault Detection and Classification System) is responsible for the equipment error detection and analysis, and monitors the SV data reported by the equipment. PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) is introduced into the operation and maintenance of equipment to carry out maintenance on equipment and parts, record fault reports, and form a fault knowledge base.

III. Main results

Through the application of smart factory construction, the Company continuously promotes digital management in business, R&D, manufacturing, and management, and improves the interconnection of manufacturing platforms and compatibility of information systems.Between 2021 and 2023, the Company's production efficiency was increased by approximately 30%, operating costs were reduced by approximately 9%, the development cycle of benchmark products was shortened by approximately 29%, and the comprehensive energy consumption per unit of product was reduced by 20% or more, and the inherent reliability (MTBF) of core equipment increased by 2%.The Company was awarded the title of pilot demonstration of intelligent manufacturing of LCD panels in 2018, and was assessed for Intelligent Manufacturing Level 4 (Optimization Level) maturity in 2022.
